Living in the present moment

​Living each waking second in the present moment cannot be overstated.
In a society that seems over stimulated and on "ADD" mode, remembering to live in the present, moment by moment, is more important than ever.
When you live more in the present moment there seems to be…
  • A sense of calmness
  • A greater sense of awareness
  • Clearer thoughts and decisions
  • Improved listening skills
  • Slower and deeper breathing
  • Less worry
  • Less anger
...and who doesn't want all that?
Ways that I remember to live in the moment…
  • Connect with nature
  • Pay attention to my breathing rate
  • Meditate
  • Use the "pause" button when thoughts go in a negative direction
  • Do things more slowly
  • Notice my surroundings more
  • Express gratitude often
